Default 'WWE: Wrestlemania XXIV' -- pre-release buzz

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced their debut high-def title for Blu-ray:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/wwe_...maniaxxiv.html

There's no specs yet, but it is billed as a two-disc set, so that bodes well for some extras.

Retail is $49.95, and street date is May 20.

We should have the full press details in soon, so stay tuned...

I stopped watching wrestling about 6 years ago and am more in to boxing. But this will be a big boost for High Def as Wrestling is still a billion dollar industry. And i know (from experience) that those people who do watch it are hard core fans so it may even convince a few to go HD if they haven't already.

The card this year isn't as horrendously bad as the card last year, but it's not really anything to be excited about.... You know, except Edge/Taker because they're pretty awesome.

Just the fact that Cena would be on my TV in the main event scene is a big turn-off. Put him in the mid-card where he belongs. He's a good worker but doesn't have the skill to hang with a top tier guy like Orton.

But yeah... Jericho should win money in the bank, and then should win the title.

I'm looking more forward to TNA's Lockdown than I am to WWE's biggest PPV of the year. (TNA's is Bound for Glory and it ain't till November).

Oh, thanks for telling me I didn't know. I bet you are going to tell me that The Terminator isn't real either.

This dude is lame. Everyone knows wrestling isn't REAL, it's just entertainment. If it's not your kind of entertainment, move along.

At any rate I will be picking this up, it's no more than the PPV its self and I can watch it as much as I want, and Amazon already has it for $34.95

There are more adults that watch wrestling than kids.
