Default 'I, Robot' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth has briefly overcome his fear of robots in order to complete his just posted review of 'I, Robot.' He says the movie is great. As for this Blu-ray release? Well, it's a perfect marriage of reference quality video and audio that has to be seen and heard to be believed. Unfortunately, the supplements have been pared down from previous editions (and enhanced in some high-def exclusive ways). Had all the previous materials been included, this would be a "Must Buy," but as is, it's still HIGHLY Recommended.

Wow, I really wanted this, but I figured I'd wait considering all the titles releasing now and in the coming weeks. Now I really want to go out and get my hands on it. Now.

Amazon...here I come!

Thanks for the review!

I didn't think the movie was that great but I will pick up the BD just because of the PQ/AQ. I saw this in a theater where they have a DLP projector and it looked amazing so I can't wait to watch it on my HD projector.

Can't believe this movie has possibly better picture quality than I am Legend.

I would've thought the newer releases (day-and-date) would be better. I guess not.

Might get this when I go blu.

This Blu Ray is WELL worth the price. I think this is a must own. PQ and AQ are absolutely stunning.

Ready for a laugh at my expense? Robots creep me out. More intelligent than zombies, more unpredictable than ax-wielding madmen, and more heartless than supernatural beasties, robots have struck me as the most unsettling killing machines featured on film since I was a kid
, so you haven't seen Transformers yet right Ken, I mean until the end. Be honest? (just kidding)

its rediculous that no matter how old a title is for fox (die hard, edward scissor hands, ID4) they are the same price as day and date fox releases (Hitman)

Nah man, they dont count. I'm sure he's talking about the relentless man-size killers like in Westworld and The (original) Terminator. That was some scary shit back in the day.

I've seen it, alright -- when Barricade transforms and corners Sam against another car... chills.

I've come to learn I have a lot of irrational fears... dolls, zombies, robots... I don't know what madness I saw on TV when I was a kid, but apparently it had quite an effect haha. Ah well, good movies are good movies!

The man-size killers are definitely some of the worst. The more humanoid their appearance, the more they creep me out. But don't even get me started on the Teddy Bear from 'A.I.' -- an unnatural blend of doll and robot that should have never come to pass. Anyone remember Teddy Ruxpin? I had nightmares as a kid over that talkin' glassy-eyed demon... nightmares haha
