'Eragon' - High-Def Digest Review
Peter's review of 'Eragon' is up, and it's a bit of a roller coaster ride. He disliked the film itself (finding it both derivitive and uninspired) but he ranked the both the video and audio on this Blu-ray release quite highly. Unfortunately, a non-existant supplements package (the day and date standard-def release comes fully loaded) drags this one down yet again, making the already steep $39.99 list price feel wholly unjustified

Well the smart way to purchase movies is from Amazon Prime - you can get it for under $28 which $11 off the price and about average price at Bestbuy. I have this film Pre-order and should get it tommorrow. I have yet seen it.

the movie itself was "meh". the Dragon looked sweet as hell though. Worth a watch for sure.

I have a question. How come the HD audio is rated so highly when its a DTS-HD Master track that you cannot really play yet?

I just finish watching this movie and thought it was beutifully done - some of the best scenary images I seen yet in HD. I enjoy the movie and enjoy the movie.
I can wait to play this movie once I get HDMI receiver that would support it. I would highly recommend this movie. To be honest, you can get it cheaper at Amazon, and I never care about the extras. None of that matters - this is well quality made movie.
