Default 'I Am Legend' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'I Am Legend' has been posted. He was sort of disappointed with the film, but says this Blu-ray is "reference quality" with five star (!!) video and audio tracks, a few extras, and an alternate version. 'I Am Legend' is well worth checking out.

Nice to see WB is back on track with delivering in A&V because I can't remember the last time I saw a WB High-Def with 4.5, 5.0 rating.

I enjoyed I AM LEGEND, Will Smith like Tom Hanks (in Cast Away) pulled it off.

Glad to see the PQ/AQ is so good. I disagree about the movie itself,
which I felt was 4 stars, but to each his own and all that.

Nice, I might have to get this. I liked how the movie never tried to be an action movie but instead was a suspense movie...

Sad to see peter didn't like the film. Personally I loved it but maybe because I never read the original story so I didn't have any expectations. Glad to hear it has amazing pq and sq means I won't be cancelling my preorder. I think my only beef with the movie was the cgi monsters looked pretty fake. The deserted NYC scenes are amazing though.

I think the only difference is the HD doesn't have the "Creating 'I Am Legend'" documentary.

I wasn't as estatic about the video transfer, it looks good for what it is but it wasn't amazing. The audio was great though, and the movie was decent.

Glad to see the high PQ/SQ marks. I enjoyed the movie, would probably give it a 3-3.5 score. I've seen the alternate ending as well and it's interesting. It's closer (although not perfect) to the book.

The original ending is lame as hell, but after seeing the alternate ending on the internets, I'm going to add this to my queue, watch the full alternate version and make my purchase decision at that point.

I think Peter should stick to reviewing Chick Flicks. Good to know the PQ is good.

I love apocalyptic movies. This movie was great but it felt apart when he meet up with the girl. I didn't like this ending or the alternative ending.

I have seen the alternative ending. But it doesn't make sense since we know about the blown up bridge.

How come the Best Buy Exclusive 3-Discs Edition is cheaper than the 1 disc?
