Default 'Hitman' - High-Def Digest Reviews

Peter's review of 'Hitman' is up. He says the film is a no-nonsense action film. He doesn't necessarily think its the most original entry he's seen in the genre, but says this Blu-ray boats solid video and audio and an array of extras. If you're in an undemanding action mood, 'Hitman' is probably worth a rental.

Buying it after I watch my Netflix copy though. If it's good then I'll buy it.

I made a bet with myself that if Video Quality was less than 4 stars, I would rent.

Looks like a buy for me

Why was this only on a 25gb disk?

On a personal note, I actually liked this movie when I saw it in the theatre. It's plot is sometimes hard to follow (like the review stated) but there is so much cool stuff going on you kind of forget that the story isn't developed. It certainly is a popcorn flick if there ever was one.

Sounds like a solid rental.
But he makes it sound worse than the grade it was given!

Rad, yet another BD25...thanks Fox! The BDA really needs to get cracking on getting more BD50 lines up and running.

They've been using the 25GB disc for a long time now, as long as they cant put a Master Audio in one of those they will keep using them.

are you serious? OMG, that is so lame...What about the PSP? Sony is Blu-ray right? I personally think that is so wrong for not supporting the PSP on this digital version copy of the movie...

I'm with you. I would love to watch Hitman on my PSP during my train ride home from work. The Live Free or Die Hard DVD has the same issue too.

Oh I know, I even own a couple of them. It's just very readily apparent that concessions are being made right now due to the lack of BD50 lines and I'm sure we'll see double-dips of these new-release BD25's down the road.

Just seems a bit hypocritical that many BD fans forever trumpeted the glories of the BD50 but now that HD DVD is dead and buried the ole BD25 is a-ok!

They won't, we're gonna be seeing a lot of 25 gig discs untill they figure out how much they are gonna charge us for the 50 gig versions. Make no mistake the 50 gig discs will cost more. We were given a choice, now we have to live with it.
