A Tale of Two Sisters was just incredible. Can't wait to see it in high-definition

Hope that means a remastered Oldboy is on the way. Last year's release was dogshit.

You're right -- due to an editing error, 'Old Boy' accidentally ended up in Attebery's initial post in this thread.

To be clear: Tartan has *not* announced plans for an 'Old Boy' re-issue at this time. (I've removed the mention of 'Old Boy' from the first post in this thread.)

Sorry for the confusion.

Hopefully they'll do better transfers on their next releases. I wouldn't mind owning Tale of Two Sisters, Lady Vengance, and Sky Blue on Blu-ray..

The Oldboy transfer was really disappointing.

I hate to bust up this party but aren't these release dates from Tartan UK? Tartan has the distribution rights to 'The Proposition' in the UK but First Look has the distro rights in the US! Same thing goes for 'Paranoid Park'...

'Sky Blue' is also known as 'Wonderful Days'. That movie has an intriguing visual design (a mix of traditional animation, CGI, and live-action miniatures) and looked terrific on the Region 3 DVD. I bet it will look amazing in High-Def.

I agree, though I didn't care for the movie and have trouble recommending it, but visually it was appealing.

I'm stoked about the Proposition though. Tale of Two Sisters was excellent but that would just be a rental for me, not something I'd purchase for my collection unless it was on sale.

Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. The announcement I saw for these was for the UK. Maybe, if we're lucky, the U.S. will see a release of one or two of these a month or two later like with Oldboy. I'd love to get Blu-ray versions of A Tale of Two Sisters and Lady Vengeance (with the fade to black and white version, but that's probably way too much to ask for).

My interest is piqued. Thanks, Josh.
