Default 'Justice League: The New Frontier' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of 'Justice League: The New Frontier' has been posted. He enjoyed this animated version of the graphic novel, and says this Blu-ray featuresplenty of thrilling animated action that captures the essence of the characters. It also features a striking video transfer, a great TrueHD audio track, and a wealth of supplements that are worth the cost of admission alone. Comic fans should definitely consider picking this one up.

after Ult Avengers and Dr Strange, the other direct to video hidef titles, bombed here PQ wise, i decided to wait this one out. Sounds like a pick up now!

And dear god, help us, Jeremy Sisto. Worst actor (and annoying voice) in some time, in my eyes.

I've heard hype about this movie but it turn out terrible. Terrible voice acting, art direction, animation, plot ect. Should've sent it to Japan like they did with the amazing job done on WB Batman and Superman.

I couldn't believe it the art house in Korea did a terrible job on the animation.

Never thought I would hate Green Lantern in this movie. Terrible Terrible! Superman sound like a wuss.

I find it most strange that this title gets a 50 GB disc.

Not a big fan of DC comics, I am more of a Marvel type of guy but I will give it a rent. I really liked Doomsday. Hoping for the best on this one.

It sucks that the bonus JLU cartoons are in SD, still a worthy purchase for me though.

Default Umm

Ok so the first 45 mins are great! The artwork is top notch and the story is strong. Well something happened after that point. Its like the ending was rushed. The artwork went down hill after that point too. I think this may be a rental if I ever watch it again.
I hope the next batman anime is better.

AND THE VOICE ACTING?? What the hell. None of the people that have been doing the the voice work for the past decade and 1/2 are in the movie. Only Niel Patrick Harris is better than the standard cast of voice actors. Why mess up Batman or Superman's voice with over paid talent in the movies? Ok so Wonder Woman wasnt bad..

Just got done watching this in HD on my AppleTV and gotta say it looks way more impressive in HD forsure. Huge difference between the SD trailer and the HD download.High Def Definitly boosts 2D animation just as it does CGI(although there is of course a huge difference)

Was it just me or did it remind me of Independence Day??
With it being released on BD next week it kept popping in my mind...
The mothership -- The Island
How the green Lantern and the other guy go inside to blow it up.
How all those creatures come from the side of the Island(Mothership) like the mini ships in ID4.
Plus character similarities.
I was waiting for the guy who punched the martian dude to say "Welcome to Planet Earth" or something.
