Default 'Dirty Harry: Ultimate Collection' -- pre-release buzz

Warner has finally set a date for 'Dirty Harry: Ultimate Collection'

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/dirt...ollection.html

It's due June 3, and features all five Dirty Harry flicks in one box.

No specs yet, or even a retail price, but more should arrive shortly.

BTW, there will be no HD DVD version.

You've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"

I saw them all I believe on VHS when I was a kid and will definitely be buying the set. Hopefully it is reasonable priced - I'm thinking $99 or less from amazon and i'll buy it for sure.

I hope it comes out separately too, I like the first and second film, don't care for the rest.

I'd have to rent a few disks first . I Have the SD disks and that may be good enough, I saw Dirty Harry on HDnet movies and the transfer was atrocious, grain and dirt abound. Hopefully Warner is having a new HD transfer done from a better source.

I only want the original. I hope Warner will offer stand-alone versions.

The first one looked pretty good on dvd should be even better on Blu-Ray in 2:35 OAR

Great score by Lalo Schiffrin

Memorable quotes too:

"Now you know why they call me Dirty Harry. I get every lousy job that comes along"

"My that's a big one" (the killer seeing Harry's 44 Magnum)

"When I see a man running down the alley chasing a woman with a butcher knife I figure he isn't out collecting for the red cross"
