THANK YOU WARNER BROS!!!!!

I totally love Ocean's 11, but I absolutely refuse to put money down for 12 and 13.

Now, what about standalones of Spider-man 1 and 2? Way to go Sony, give me Spider-man 3 for free and then give me no way to buy 1 and 2 without getting 3 again.

Wish they would have added PCM audio...I don't like to buy movies that don't have HD audio...just doesn't seem right.

@drock

From what I've read they're not mixed all that well anyway on purpose to create a more "70's atmosphere" for the films.

Also, I'm glad they announced this. I was about to plunk down $45 cash on getting 11 from Amazon Japan when I saw this.

Now if they'd just announce Almost Famous on BR, I can empty my cart over on Amazon.jp

It's funny but Ocean's 12 completely ruined 11 for me, and I didn't even go to Ocean's 13, because of 12.

Both Oceans 11 and 12 have been availible stand-alone in Europe (Region B) since the end of november 2007. They were released together with Oceans 13.

I'm in with most of the folks here who cant stand Oceans 12. Besides the Capoera dance scene the whole movie pretty much blew chuncks......and I'm talking chunks the dog.

I've got the UK standalone Ocean's Eleven and it's not region coded. Plays in my US PS3 just fine.

I like these movies, but they scream double dip all the way around. O11 is probably the best one with PQ and AQ out of the whole set. I did own the HD DVD box set, but I am waiting for these to be released down the road since O12 and O13 are all over the place PQ.

Oceans 12 is now the most enjoyable to watch because Oceans 11 and Oceans 13 are most concerned with the con and the twist, the enjoyment of which continue to fade after only a couple of viewings. Ocean's 12 deliberately rides against these expectations by having the heist take place off-screen; making the point that the films are more about camaraderie of Danny, Rusty, Linus et al than the con. I'll concede that this point is made far more eloquently in the scene at the Bellagio fountains at the end of Ocean's 11 (an homage to The Right Stuff) but that is just one moment.

Oceans 12 is filled with comedy that stems from character - Linus quoting Led Zepellin's Kashmir in the cryptic meeting with Robby Coltrane's character, Catherin Zeta Jones perfectly snubbing Bruce Willis' romantic advances.

It did descend into smugness towards the end and the Julia Robert's incident may have taken it all too far but that's why I was hoping that Ocean's 13 would continue the new direction and make it more wholesome. Unfortunately they pandered to much to the complaints about Oceans 12 and ended up with a mediocre remake of Oceans 11; often harking back to it's classier moments with echoes of a faded, carousel version of Clare De Lune.

Does anyone know if Ocean's 11/12 will have improved picture quality than the ones in the boxset?

Nope. Its the exact same product, just not packaged together. They wouldn't do a new encode so soon, maybe in 2 years or so.
