Casino Royale, Sold Out

Wow. Today is wend. so Casino Royale came out only yesturday and each of our local BBY stores got about 30 copies and their all sold out gawd damnit. but jeee, on Blu-ray and all sold out? guh. Now i gotta wait .....

that sucks. where i liver we have best buy, circuit city, FYE, suncoast video, and other places. i went to fye to trade in some of my sh*tty bds and hd dvds like the covenant and the descent and miami vice, but i was going to buy casino royale at the cc right near it cuz fye is usually really expensive. but CR was 30 there and i aklso bought vertical limit that was only 20 there, same price as amazon so yee. yeah, by the way, CR on blu-ray is BOMB!!!

Every BestBuy in the Greater Kansas City area was sold out on BD. They had plenty of Fullscreen DVD copies though so I figured, "eehhhh what's the difference"

I guess I will head to Walmart and see if they happen to have it

I just opened my Amazon Casino Royale a second ago. I don't have prime and use free shipping. I pre-ordered it 2 weeks before its tuesday release date. As long as I have it before the weekend I don't care if it takes a few days. Total after tax and everything it was 26.68. It would have been 32.63 (29.99) if I bought it from BB or CC. Even at Fry's which has a sale that I didn't know about until today it would have been 27.19 (24.99).

I didn't have to look for it or chase it down it just came to my door. I am happy with Amazon you just have to order early on the big titles to be early on the list of handling. I am sure that Prime people get the stuff quicker but I live very near a shipping center so I get it in 2-3 days anyway even by snail mail.

Every store near me was out by 4PM Tuesday. I ended up going to Fry's (long drive) on Wednesday and picking it up.

I'm amazed how few copies stores seemed to get...

Does Target even stock new copies at all? The Wal-Marts by me stopped carrying Hi-Def movies. Don't know why? I picked mine up at BB pricematching Wal-Mart's online price. I was there Tuesday by 3:30 and they had about 10 copies left. I was impressed they had that much! Watched it twice already. Great movie!

I didn't find it at my first stop, but found it at the next.

But with hi-def releases, the best idea is to go out to get them the day of the release seeing has how stores don't get many copies.

It was sold out at all best buys by wednesday but found it at circuit city. Great movie, great picture quality =]
