'Dragon Tiger Gate' -- pre-release buzz
Tai Seng has cancelled the HD DVD version of 'Dragon Tiger Gate,' and will re-issue it on Blu-ray May 27:
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/dragontigergate.html
Specs are improved on the BLu-ray, with a Cantonese 7.1 mix (versions 5.1 on the canned HD DVD) plus English and Mandarin 5.1 Dolby options.
Extras are the same, with audio commentary, multiple featurettes, still gallery, deleted scenes and theatrical trailers.
Retail is $29.99. -

Tai Seng. High Def. Somehow, those four words don't match.

2 lossless tracks. Looks to be the same as the original HK release.
My copy is on it's way from amazon.
When a small studio like Tai Seng can fit 2 lossless audio tracks on a BD25 without compromising on the video bit rates why can't our big friends at WB
do it ?

Can you guys confirm that the Amazon disc has a Mandarin track like the HK one? I'm a mandarin speaker so this is important.

I just picked this up, crossing my fingers on the quality.
I love Donnie Yen stuff though so I'm sure I'll enjoy the movie at least. -

I ordered my copy of Dragon Tiger Gate on Thursday from Amazon, which stated out of stock 'til June 5th... the next day, Friday, May 30th, my copy had already arrived! So, that was a bit surprising, to say the least.
