Default 'Sea Monsters' -- pre-release buzz

National Geographic has set a new one for Blu:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/seamonsters.html

NG is billing this one as an "Indiana Jones"-like combination of live-action reenactments of prehistoric excavations mixed with cutting-edge CGI.

Tech specs include 1080p video and English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround audio.

There are no announced extras.

Retail is $29.99, and street date June 10.

I've seen this like three times in IMAX - yes, it's that good IMO. um, has the street date changed according to Amazon it now looks like it's been changed to June 24th.

I'm disapointed it's just 42 minutes.... Is it really worth it? Was hoping it was more episodes on one disc. What a waste of space..... :/ I'd rather pay the double for 3-4 IMAX episodes in one disc....

Even though I found this very entairtaining and educational I can't justify spending over $10 for a 40 minute movie without lossless audio or extras.

I agree with you, 10 dollars is more of a fair price for it. But I guess I have no choice, I love ancient animals. But I won't buy any of the other IMAX'es before they give us more per disc.......

This title should be priced below the normal standard retail price, imho. I mean..come on. 42 minutes, no extras??!!?? The 3D is cool and all but it is only a few minutes (maybe if that) in a 42 minute movie. I agree with Andy and Jimmy..$10 MAX!!
