Default Batman: Gotham Knight' -- pre-release buzz

Warner Premiere has announced their latest animated direct-to-video title for Blu-ray:

No tech specs yet, but extras include a documentary, Bob Kane featurette, bonus episodes (personally selected by Bruce Timm) and a 'Wonder Woman' preview.

Retail is $35.98, and street date July 8.

It's release date could also most likely be the release for the Batman Anthology and Begins on Blu-Ray! That'd be quite an expensive day, and a lot of Batman!

is this the animated tie in for the dark knight, like this is set inbetween the two movies right?

and yea that date looks good for the releases of the other batman movies, and best thing is a week before my b-day, i think i will have a very nice b-day

I'll pick it up, but I'm a little thrown off by the Anime style.

I can't wait for this. Hopefully it sells enough for Warner to release Batman the Animated Series on blu-ray. Bruce Timm is a mangod.

This should be a story on the main page for Batman fans to geek out on. This will be great to watch a week and a half before The Dark Knight hits cinemas.

Man if this is even remotely close to as good as Animatrix then it will definately kick some butt.

There is more then one story and they all have different art styles, some dont look like your tipical anime. So there will be something there for everyone
