I sure hope that Warner starts with the lossless sound soon....there are titles I just won't buy unless it's a must-have because they only contain Dolby Digital. I am sure there are those that don't care as much as I do, but Disney, Fox, MGM< Sony/Columbia are being very smart by releasing every title with lossless why can't Warner?

Interesting concept for sure.
That looks great. Personally, I never liked the Batman animated series art or any of the other Warner/DC cartoon art, but like I said, I think this looks fantastic. Blind buy indeed.

The Justice League blu-ray has a sneak peak at this. Looks pretty cool, the anime style seems to suit it well from what I've seen.

Christian Bale will not be providing the voice for Batman in the animated film.

Ahh, that was one of the main reasons for me to buy it. Can we get confirmation on this?

This is a must have for my collection. I just wish they had used Kevin Conroy to voice Batman instead of Christian Bale. Bale is fine as Bruce Wayne, but his Batman voice leaves a lot to be desired.

Default Bale

Actually, it's more like the Animatrix, since it's a collection of short animated films by different teams that tie in two movies. Also, Bale will NOT be voicing Batman!

I hope you're right about Bale. Although he proved himself to be a pretty good voice actor in Howl's Moving Castle, he's not the best choice for Batman. I wonder if the voice acting is going to be consistent between the stories?

The OP, to which I was posting (not the post I quoted), was asking about: "the animation style".
Not the storytelling style.
Do you think "the animation style" is similar too "Animatrix"?

my favorite actor is christian bale, my favorite superhero is batman and i love batman, i love batman 1989, the animated series and the rest of them are fun, but one of my favorite movies of all time is batman begins, and i think they got batman begins exactly the perfect way i wanted for batman.

there has never been a movie i have looked more forward to then the dark knight, and i will deff pick this up as long as it takes place in the middle to bb and tdk.
