To the uninitiated, it may sound like the perfect demo disc for your home theater, but High-Def Digest's Kenneth Brown says 'A View From Space with Heavenly Music' is far from it. Repetitive visuals, poor quality video, a strange collection of songs and zero supplements make this a pretty dreadful release. The sole bright spot is a technically solid sound package.
This Blu-ray release is three minutes shorter than its HD DVD counterpart (which was released several months earlier), although in this case that is a good thing, as the distributor removed some of the blockier images which had no place on any home video format, and certainly not Blu-ray.
