Default 'Run Lola Run' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of 'Run Lola Run' has been posted. He's a fan of the film, and says this Blu-ray release is remarkable in its own right, offering striking video and audio, the original (though slim) supplements of the standard DVD, and a new featurette for good measure. This bests the standard DVD in every way and will certainly please fans looking for a worthy upgrade. Recommended.

Thank goodness...this film deserved better than the awful DVD release, and it looks like Sony has delivered the goods. Excellent film, and if I could find it I'd have it on Blu already. Looks like I'll have to go the Amazon route.

The last few releases I pre-ordered before any review seemed to have low reviews for PQ. Thank God this is not one.

Love this movie. I hope future releases' PQ will be unquestionable, but we'll see. Even though I thought Jesse's PQ was fine even after the 3 star rating it's disconcerting that it seems that some films aren't getting the proper care for HD release. The whole point of HD is the PQ and AQ. So I just hope more care goes into HD releases.

Anyways, I'm excited to receive my copy. Can't wait.

Sounds good, this movie is one of the reasons I got a Blu-ray player.

Great movie (my second viewing). I'd advise all first viewers of this movie to watch this with the original German TruHD track, DO NOT watch this with the English dub track (makes the movie corny and it takes away the spark of this movie).

Don't cheat yourself, just trying to help.

NOTE: How ironic is that, huh, Franka Potente in 'Run Lola Run' running for life, and in The first two 'Bourne' films running for her life.

Hey Ben, I'm guessing that you watched the whole movie with the English dub track, instead of the original language of the film?

I just blind bought this. Caught little part of it on TV some years ago and thought it's quite interesting.

While I thought the BD looked excellent, I thought that the color slipped into the yellow side a bit too much.

Wow, this looks amazing for an almost 10-year old foreign indie film. I'd give the video 5 stars myself (other than the opening sequence which was a tad shaky and had some specks)
