I guess we all saw this one coming down Fifth Avenue, but Fox has confirmed that 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' won't be streeting this week after all:
http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...mith_Delay/516 The weird thing is that this title wasn't included among all those other Fox titles that were announced for delay last month, and yet several of them were scheded for this week... |

Here's hoping they include the superior Director's Cut of the movie.

Just to add another perspective to this story... I haven't seen the movie before so I decided to put the Blu-ray into my Netflix queue. In the status section, it has always said "releasing on Blu-ray on March 13, 2007." Well today, instead of keeping that message or being shifted to my saved section (for films without known release dates), the status section now says "short wait" implying that Netflix has already shipped out all their copies to other customers. Now I'm not saying that this means anything per se, since Fox would be much more reliable about their own disc than Netflix, but I do find it interesting.

this is an absolute joke. fox has sucked so much balls over the last couple of months. i am so disgusted with this. why does fox keep pulling there titles?????? is it because they suck balls?? i pre ordered this at amazon right after a got my blu-ray player in january. its bad enough that these titles are delayed but for all of them not to even have a different street date is a joke. at least sony didnt suck balls with casino royale comign out

(having both copies) the directors cut is a poor version of the movie.

PS3Fanboy.com (12-23-2008, 9:45AM): iSuppli, the company which broke down the PS3 at launch ... now, they say the PS3 costs 53% less to make -- at around $445 |

I had this movie on my pre-order list and was even thinking of removing it before the news. It is not a big deal since I have it on DVD and not too much excited about it.

Got an e-mail from Amazon this morning postponing shipment until May 15th. So maybe they got word from Fox on a revised release date.
