And Randell. Don't squeeze the picture to make it fit the form. You have to scale it down in the right portions. Also try to find high res pictures to work with, not every picture on the internet is suitable for printing. You have to think about resolution as well. Screen resolution is 72 pts per inch, print resolution is 300 pts per inch so there is a massive difference.
Don't rush in to this, practice makes perfect and right now this cover is far from perfect.
Check the site above. There are tons of great covers there, mostly for SD DVDs but they have some BDs and HD DVD covers as well. -

Head over to AVS & see if the eaprogramming guy is cool with linking his site in this thread...also browse the thread as well as posters have put up covers not on his site.

OK I redone my cover. Hope it looks better. I like the one with the original movie poster. I didn't really want to use it but oh well.

I'm planing to redo my Die Hard collection covers for Blu Ray and add the fourth one as well.
If you sign up for replacethecase.com you'll gain access to high res material, photos, logos and such that you can use for cover making. But I also suggest you get yourself a proper image editing program if you don't have photoshop if you are venturing in to cover making. -

Thank Blurry. I sent him (at least I think he's a he or she's a he
Sorry if I'm wrong) a message asking him if he could create a sticky for it since we had one for HD and he said for me to create a thread and send him the link, so I did and as they say: The rest is history
.
So thanks

Well both were movie posters but I know what you mean.
The back cover, oh the back cover
It gave me soo much trouble. I couldn't find out how I wanted it done. I knew I wanted the background as it is, I love the background. I was suprised that it came out as good as it did, because I took the picture with my camera from the language selection screen.
I just used a scratch remover to get rid of the words and had to do very little else. That's not were the problem was though.
I didn't know what pictures I wanted on it, where to put them or how to do them. I went through about five different drafts. What made me go with the landscape section was kinda a mistake. See I was adding a pic and decided to place it sideways and I liked how it looked so I went and tried the whole thing as a landscape and liked it. So I decided to keep it like that.
I know it looks weird, but for some reason I just like it. I only put two pics on it because I didn't think there was ant reason to put more because I think it would have over crowed it, and (I think) it looks good with just the two.
I didn't think it would look to good if I did both front and back in a landscape forum as seen below. To be frank, I think I was right

This just looks crazy
