Cause I would like some of those covers, but really dont feel like paying.
I was a member of dvdcoverart.com before they got sued and shut down, then later followed those guys to form dagonsden.com that changed to replacethecase.com
I have never heard of those you mention though.

Anyone got the dimensions and dpi for making BD covers cos I intend to make my own covers.

swarez, those are very nice! The Freddy Vs. Jason is a little busy, but what you chose as artwork is still relevant, so it works well. Great job!

If I could make a couple of suggestions regarding the cover.

The "Specifications" box is a tad too big and cuts off Zahn's face. You can make the box smaller so it doesn't do that.

Also. Move the text and logos at the bottom a little bit up, as they are now they are too close to the edge and that never looks good.
My rule of thumb is always leaving at least 5mm gap between text and edge. You see the space between the left side of the synopsis text and the edge? That should be universal on all the text.
Other than that it looks pretty good.

I think it looks fine. Although I still like the one he originally posted better. The one with nothing but the faces and movie name.

I really like it. Have you updated it any more since posting this? Also, do you think you could hook me up with a high res version?

I agree with everything he just said. Looks great otherwise. In fact, I'd almost mistake it for professional.

I work as a graphic designer yes. I actually do most of the movie posters here in Iceland, which aren't many though since there are only a handful of films released every year.

I started doing custom covers many years ago, mostly to battle the horrible snapper cases that Warner, New Line and a few others put their discs in. Also I hated some of the artwork the studios released so I wanted to make them more pretty.

Here is my site by the way. www.swarez-design.com

You can try www.sleevetown.com I recently just purchased 100 amaray (embedded logo, locking tab) cases on ebay for $.50/piece which is slightly higher than sleevetown but I'll get them a lot faster. I may order another 100 and should be set for a long time.

here are a few other sites:

http://www.cdrom2go.com/product-more...FQVvHgodnQKhJg

http://www.yesbuy.net/media-standard...-box-blue.html

http://www.dvd-and-media.com/dvd-cases-bluray.html

EDIT: The last link sells the thicker cases (made by Amaray) seen in the UK, Europe, and Australia.

Default 'Thir13en Ghosts'

Now a cover for my 'Thir13en Ghosts' import. All my covers I've done so far has been for my imports minus my 'Brokeback' and 'Apollo 13' covers.

This is ummm an edited version. On my original copy the "Angry Princess" (chick on right side of title) is topless, which she is topless 99% of her screen time. I just think it looks better .

Every pic on here was screen shots I took from the movie. Minus the head in the middle and the title. Enjoy

Oh and if any one's wondering why I'm not posting the "unedited" version, I don't think the mods (or Photobucket) would like it to much
