1. I watched Zombie 1979 with the original English mono and with the original Italian mono with English subtitles. I also watched the audio commentary.
2. I also watched Once Upon a Time in the West the theatrical version with original English mono.
I watched both movies on my Sony Blu-ray laptop.

Saw Bugs life. Earlier this week I watched Puss in Boots. Both were pretty good films, both were rentals and I've decided I shall buy both movies.

I'm in the middle of Kickboxer right now. Going to finish it up tonight or tomorrow. I'm also a big JCVD fan. Still waiting for Hard Target on blu.

After the announcement of the 25th anniversary set for the SF2, I decided it was time to revisit this gem. Loved it. Sure its ridiculous, but it seemed like the actors knew they were in a bad movie based on a videogame and just went with it. Especially Raul Julia.

Never cared for the Shakespeare movies taking place in modern times till now. Coriolanus was amazing. Ralph Feinnes killed it as the lead. I never really thought Gerard Butler could handle Shakespeare, I was wrong there. Chastain, who I don't think I have ever seen in a movie before but seems to be in everything, was good, but since almost every scene she was in was with Redgrave, she was very much overshadowed. And Brian Cox is always excellent.

The Notebook - I heard enough from my lady friends that I had to finally see it. I definitely liked it and it looked really good on blu.

Alien. Gearing up for Prometheus this weekend!“You gotta take a side. You molest a child; you beat a child, you’re not on my side. If you see me coming you better run because I’m gonna lay you the fuck down!” -Ed Harris “Gone, Baby, Gone”

Act of Valor.
One of the things that struck me about this movie upon my second viewing was that we're actually fighting a foreign antagonist. If you take a look at the bulk of action movies coming out of Hollywood these days it's always some operative fighting the US itself, generally the CIA. Look at all the Bourne movies (including the latest one), The Green Zone, Haywire, Safe House, etc. I think it's indicative of the hypersensitive PC Hollywood mindset (and to some degree a desire to protect the lucrative foreign market). It was nice to see us as entirely the good guys for once. It was also nice to see a military movie that didn't completely overlook or marginalize the enlisted folks like most movies and TV shows do.
And I watched Livide (FR) which I found it to be more dark fantasy along the lines of Pan's Labyrinth rather than horror. Still, a good watch.“You gotta take a side. You molest a child; you beat a child, you’re not on my side. If you see me coming you better run because I’m gonna lay you the fuck down!” -Ed Harris “Gone, Baby, Gone”
