'Casino Royale' BD - dropped frame?
I've done a cursory search but haven't seen this mentioned anywhere including the review. I just watched Casino Royale for the first time on Blu-ray (US release) and noticed a big jump/jerk in the motion during the first close-up of Bond talking to M on the boat in Venice (last chapter, 2:16:39). I was watching this on my PS3 and I did a frame-by-frame to see if I really just saw what I suspected as a dropped frame.
Indeed, it clearly repeats one of the frames with no apparent change in grain and then the motion jumps ahead for the next frame. The PS3 seems to seek to the "drop" slower than any of the surrounding frames.
Strange issue I've never seen on a BD before, can anyone check their copy? -

No one feels like checking? No one knows what I'm talking about? No one cares? Heh. I figured it's a rather worrisome, at least annoying issue if my disc isn't alone. I can't recall seeing a dropped frame on a DVD before so having it on a Blu-ray is a step back.

I just checked my disc and yes there is a slight jerk in the frame for half a second but I never noticed it before and I would say this is a very minor issue.
