Default 'Casino Royale' - High-Def Digest Review

We've been waiting for this one for a while now -- Peter's review of 'Casino Royale' is up. He quite liked the film itself, and in particular praises this Blu-ray's soundtrack, which should serve as great home theater demo material. Alas, the video (while certainly solid enough) is somewhat disappointing considering the high-profile nature of the title. Nothing too bad -- just some hot contrast that leaves things a bit too blown out for Peter's taste. Still, sure to be a top seller, and fun watch for all...

Wow I am kind of in a bit of shock that Sony didn't make sure this release was reference quality.
I guess I won't feel as if I'm missing that much with a SD DVD version upcoverted

I don’t get it. Why isn’t Casino Royale perfect? This title alone would have been enough to push me to BD.
