Default 'The Jane Austen Book Club' – High-Def Digest Review

Just posted Peter's review of the 'The Jane Austen Book Club.' It's safe to say he hated it, wishing it would switch gears and become a horror movie in order to off the annoying characters. He says this Blu-ray release is pretty marginal too, with lackluster video and audio. Supplements are fairly plentiful, but nothing that would make this film worth a recommendation for more than those addicted to chick-flick punishment.

So, I should stick to punishing myself with a rental?

I really liked this film. Of course, I am also a chick, so that might have something to do with why I liked this chick-flick.

I have not seen this and have no desire to do so but it got pretty good reviews overall on rottentomatoes, I am surprised he hated it that much.

I've read such great reviews on this one that I'm tempted to pick it up as a blind buy. But the price is so damn expensive.
