Default Echo Bridge intros line of bargain Blu-ray discs

Quote:
Indie distributor Echo Bridge has announced their debut slate of high-def releases, bringing a wave of six bargain-priced hits to Blu-ray this April.

A diverse mix of theatrical releases and made-for-TV fare, the line-up includes the 2006 telefilm 'Blackbeard,' the hit mini-series '10.5: Apocalypse,' 'Category 7: The End of the World' and 'The Curse of King Tut's Tomb,' and the theatrical releases 'The Last Sentinel' and 'Artie Lange's Beer League.'

Priced at a format-low of $14.95 a pop, Echo Bridge will release the entire slate on Blu-ray April 1.

Apparently $15 for horrible titles is a bargain in BD land.

I don't want any of them either, but I imagine Wal-Mart
and SuperMarkets will have them at $9.95 in the
impluse buy displays. The exposure for Blu-ray will
be good. It's all about choices.

Don't feed the troll. He is not allowed to attack Blu-ray in these forums, so report his posts and move on.

$8.95 at Amazon. I saw most of these when they were first broadcast. Although I might pick up 3 or 4 since they are so cheap.

um. Those movies are total garbage. Why should anyone report someone telling the truth. You can get pretty much any blu ray for around or a little over 15 bucks on amazon so why would I pay that much for any of those?

Neither you nor he dictates taste. For all we know, millions are waiting to buy them. I doubt it, but this isn't the smackdown area, it's clearly labeled as "no format-bashing".

the movies are not that great as far as quality goes but for $8.95-$9.99 i will pick up the Last sentinel(the DVD version is $23.99 at amazon) and 10.5 apocalypse(i think thats the name of the movie) I know the Pq is not goiing to be anywhere near demo material but its still better and cheaper than the DVD version.
