Default 'Behind Enemy Lines' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Behind Enemy Lines' is up, and once again both the transfer and soundtrack earned solid scores. Unfortunately however, this Blu-ray edition doesn't include several key supplements from the standard-def version, leaving Peter finding the $39.95 list price a bit steep.

Behind Enemy Lines (2001)

HD Video - 10/10
HD Audio dts - 10/10

If ya like that 3D pop to HD transfers, this one is riddled with them. As for sound, midway through the flick I had to take another look at the back of the Elite case to make sure it was not an LPCM track! ok, kiddin' but the track is equally impressive as the PQ

"The premise of "Behind Enemy Lines' is simplicity at its finest (or most idiotic, depending on your point of view). A United States aircraft carrier under Cmdr. Reigart (Gene Hackman) is running reconnaissance missions over an unstable Middle East region, while United Nations peacekeepers are on the ground attempting to bring stability to the area."
When trying on the mantle of the snarky and intellectually-superior reviewer, Peter does himself and his credibility a great disservice by not knowing that the film he is reviewing is set in Bosnia, a country in the Balkans in Southern Europe, and not "an unstable Middle East region" as he claims in his review.
