Default '6th Day' -- pre-release buzz

Sony has announced the Arnold Schwarzenegger thriller 'The 6th Day':

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/6thday.html

No specs yet, but it is billed as a special edition, so expect at least some (if not all) of the extras from the two-disc DVD to be carried over.

Retail is $28..95, and street date April 8.

About damn time, I've been waiting for this title from Sony. Not a great Arnie film but I had a lot of fun with it.

Movie was ok. Not the greatest Arnie movie I have seen....not too bad either. Will wait for the review.

Going by the low MSRP, this would probably be around $19-22 Not bad. Let's hope they don't get cheap with the added features/content.

I am looking forward to this! And I would love to see "End of Days" on BD! It looked spectacular on D-VHS! Gotta be patient, I guess it will be among the first ones Universal will release on BD once they have come to their senses!

I'm a huge Arnie fan but I consider this one of his worst. His other "bad" films still have a lot of great, at least "camp" things about them that are redeemable but this one has practically nothing. Still, glad to see it coming - I may rent it if bored to death and curious about how the PQ itself looks...

I'm glad Sony knows how to price their catalog Arnie movies (yes thats a cheap shot at Fox).

I have the original dvd version so I will eventually upgrade to Blu.
