Default 'The Game Plan' – High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'The Game Plan' has been posted. He says the movie is a predictable family comedy that showcases Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's undeniable screen presence. This Blu-ray disc is a winner, with great video and audio, and a nifty visual commentary track exclusive to the high-def version. Fans of the film will want to pick this up, and it's worth checking out if you're looking for some family fun.

LOL speaking of the Disney vault, I'm anxious for Sleeping Beauty this fall after seeing it upconverted in 1080p today, it looks a lot better than I thought it would. I take back my previous comments on it looking like shit. I hate the movie, but will pick it up for PQ alone.

Excellent read, as usual.

Just one question: how is 'Doom' a respectable film?!

I am probably going to blind buy this one. My daughter wants to see this real bad. Heard it was a decent flick and with this great review...I will pick it up on Friday...probably.

I came here to post exactly that. Although I wasn't going to phrase mine as a question.

Doom is NOT a respectable film at all.

I watched this on Blu Ray Saturday. Peter is on target about the film and about The Rock; he truly has screen presence and really made the film watchable.

Just picked this up and I'm enjoying it so far...

Question: About 45 mins into the flick, the screen has lines going through it and it stutters a bit... are these known framerate issues? anyone else having these troubles?
