Fox is really churning out the releases lately, announcing 'Hitman' for Blu-ray on March 11:
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/hitman.html The movie is presented unrated, in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and DTS-MA 5.1 audio (48kHz/24-bit). No specs yet, but the box does say the disc includes a digital copy of the movie, a strategy Fox first revealed at CES. Retail is $39.98.

Cover looks alright to me. It would have been better if they showed the back of his head with the bar code.

Yeah, by it being a Blu Ray Disc, how are you supposed to get the copy off the disc??? KNowing Fox, they will expect you to put the disc in your expensive imaginary Blu Ray ROM drive on your PC!
Hell has frozen over though, Fox of all studios is allowing people to make digital copies of there purchases. |

Call me a naive and ignorant noob, but what is a digital copy? I am rather confused about it, ever since I saw it on the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVDs...

I guess if you have a PS3 or a Blu-ray SA with memory card slots you could put it on a memory card or flash drive then put it on a PC

I mean, what exactly is the point of a digital copy, in general? What are the benefits to that?
Just what IS a Digital Copy?

Digital Copy is where a lower resolution copy of the movie can be copied ONCE per copy of the original DVD/BD for viewing on a iPhone, PC, etc.
Basically it allows you to have a downgraded copy for viewing that's separate from the DVD/BD you bought. Family Guy's "Blue Harvest" DVD is the first FOX disc with the digital copy feature. |

Sounds a bit like a waste of space to me. Although if it doesn't affect the pq of the actual movie then why not?

I think with the digital copy you can be able to watch the movie on your PSP right?
