Default 'Saw IV' – High-Def Digest Review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Saw IV.' He says this Blu-ray title surpasses most genre releases, with solid audio and video tracks, and enough twists and turns to keep the Saw faithful interested. If you're a fan of the series, have no hesitation adding this latest installment to your high-def collection.

Saw 4 wasnt "bad" imo, but it wasnt nearly as good as its prequels. I am just waiting for a box set with a reasonable price.

Part two was my least favorite until this one came along. The review was spot on. The traps are way too elaborate now, and the story is needlessly complicated in my opinion.

When I had the DVD's I didn't really watch it again, I think it's only a rental.

I missed IV in the theaters so I'm definitely going to rent it.

Regardless of the fact that I disagree completely with the 2 Star rating for the actual film, I can't WAIT to pick this one up!

HD Bonus Content: Any Exclusive Goodies in There?

Lionsgate has not piled on the exclusives for 'Saw IV,' but the title remains notable for being only the second web-enabled Blu-ray title to hit the market (following Lionsgate's 'War'). Unfortuantely, at presstime, there is currently no hardware on the market that supports Profile 2.0 (required to access BD-Live web-enabled features). We'll revisit the title once Profile 2.0 hardware finally hits, but in the meantime, 'Saw IV's coolest feature remains elusive...

MoLog - Short for MovieLog, this feature promises to allow consumers to create and share their own added value content via blog entries. Again, when Profile 2.0 players arrive, we'll give MoLog a spin and update this review.
best part of the review

regardless of tha fact i am picking up Saw 4

I liked 1 and 2 a lot but was kind of turned of by the ridiculous amount of gore in 3. This will be a blind buy for me, but I want to see where they are taking the story from here. hopefully im not disappointed.

I had a pre-order for this in my Gold Box a few weeks ago, so I was able to get it for a great price and look forward to receiving it next week. I thought it was easily better than the second and third films in the series.

I thought this was going to have LPCM 7.1, not HD Master Audio

Oh well, it was ok. The begining of the movie is brutal during the autopsy scene. Good effects Then again, im not doctor , so I am not sure how realistic it truely was, it just was gross. Give it a rent.

The only real gory parts IMO was the beginning, which was just over the top with gore.

I hated this movie when leaving the theaters, but after a day/night of thinking it over, and replaying it in my head, I ended up loving it.
