'Dragon Wars' -- High-Def Digest review

Just posted Kenneth's review of 'Dragon Wars.' Like most, he hated the
film itself (it currently scores a 25% fresh rating at Rotten
Tomatoes), and unfortunately as a Blu-ray release it's not much
better. An uneven video transfer, a loud but uninvolving video TrueHD
mix and slim set of extras make this one to avoid.

Good thing you are letting us know that without you having seen it. I actually saw it in theaters AND bought it on blu-ray. Its not the best movie by far, but its fun.

This movie is such a child of the 80's it's not even funny.

That said. It sucks, and entertains on different levels. Sound and Video I found to be passable, not great, but not terrible, and no worse then many of the 4 star reviews that litter the site.

My friend had a good time with it too -- he viewed it as if it were an intentionally bad B-movie and couldn't stop laughing. "Fun" is a very good word to describe the way he felt as well. So to each his own!

That review was actually more entertaining than the movie. I was hoping for a decent B-movie but this wasn't it.

You gave this movie one star only? You should've given none at all. I went to the theater to watch this demo (because it's not even a film) and I left, I couldn’t finish it. I really feel sorry for you Kenn. We really appreciate all the pain you had to suffer for us. Very nice of you.

I watch a ton of kung fu films that can be almost impossible to understand with plot holes and bad edits...but this sounds like it might put even my skills to the test...looking forward to the adventure.
