Default 'Rush Hour 3' -- High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Rush Hour 3.' The film itself may be a dog (it currently ranks a 20% fresh rating at Rotten Tomaties), but as a Blu-ray release Peter says this one knocks it out of the park -- both the video and audio are five-star, while the extras are way better than the film deserves.

God I hated that movie.

But I always enjoy a jaw-dropping transfer, so I may buy this sometime in the future...but not until it gets down to $20

I'm a fan of the first two (saw them in theaters and own the dvds) but decided to hold off on seeing this one. I'll probably watch the dvd for free and pick up the HD trilogy whenver they release it.

With how good the disc apparently looks, I wish I had enjoyed the movie.

The first one was quite good..Didn't you think so? However the 3rd was pretty much a wreck story wise and repetitive, however its a light hearted movie that I enjoyed. It has it's share of funny scenes and a few good fight sequences. I'll get this one.

Am I the only person who enjoyed this movie?? Everyone is bashing this one left and right and I think that Brett Ratner and clan HAVE NOT DISAPPOINTED ME.

This movie is exactly what I expected see and was worth my $9 movie ticket and $25 blu-ray. I can't wait for 1 and 2 to come out on Blu and looking forward to Rush Hour 4.

If you want to laugh and see good action look no further.

Also, Roman Polanski was fucking hilarious in this!

It had the Warner like digital plastic look. To me it looked like it had been hit with either light DNR or the vc-1 loop filter.

Overall it was still very good.

I thought this movie was a 4/5. I enjoyed it, and I also thought the PQ was great but when I asked a few weeks ago several people said it wasn't too good. I agree Roman Polanski was hilarious.

This is definitely the weakest of the series, but man, 1 1/2 stars? A movie should get one start just for being moving picture with sound. I'd personally give it a three stars for the movie. I thought it was stupid, but still enjoyable.
