Thumbs up 'The Prestige' - High-Def Digest Review

Here's Peter Bracke's Valentine's Day gift to Blu-ray fans: a near-perfect review for 'The Prestige.' He loves the film itself, says the video matches the best high-def video he's seen, and even gives the relatively low-key soundtrack the nod. The only thing this one lacks is a more robust supplements package -- guess Disney had to save *something* for the inevitable double-dip.

Nice review and I can't wait to receieved this movie.

Its going to be one of the best Blu-rays out there. I am glad to see that it is a BD50. I hope this means that Pirates and Cars are going to be same qualitly.

THis film is AWESOME. It's not the mind-***K that it could have been, but it definitely had it's twists and turns. Very nicely made and glad to see the transfer carried thru!

The direction this thread took really should have been left in the smackdown forum.

Ok, I think everyone's lost focus of what my post was about.

The Prestige...the film...it's damn good.

The format is secondary.

Get it on Blu-Ray, Hd-dvd, Beta, I don't care.

JUST GET IT!

I believe Open Season also got five stars on video. But there could be more. It's a very high honor so I'm giddy to watch one of my favourite film in such high quality.
