We just posted Peter's review of 'Chain Reaction.' He says the film itself is entertaining, but ultimately forgettable. As a Blu-ray release, this one boasts surprisingly good picture quality for a film of its vintage, and a soundtrack that delivers, as well. And while the disc includes no real standard supplements, it does boast one of Fox's Blu-ray-only triva tracks. Worth $39.98 list?

No not worth it , even though I really like this movie. Fox is on my dissapointed list.

The reviews really need to state that he's listening to the DTS core track and not the actual "DTS HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 surround track" as listed in the review. As Peter went through and re-examined several HD DVD titles when the TrueHD became available, I suspect he'll do the same when a capable player handles DTS HD MA. If the reviews don't list that he's only listening to the core, how useful will it be in a year from now when more people have access to that track? It will give a distorted view of what the disc is actually capable of in the AQ department.

I got a chance to sample this one last week. Can't say I was all that impressed by the image quality but the DTS-MA was excellent for the scenes that really had alot of atmosphere.
