Default 'Elton 60' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Elton 60 - Live at Madison Square Garden.' He enjoyed the concert itself and says this Blu-ray release is simply first-rate -- excellent video and audio are complimented by a robust supplements package that features nearly two-dozen vintage concert and TV performances.

nice review. Not a big fan of Elton John. But from the review of the audio quality, I have to rent this one.

One of our members recently saw him in concert. I would have loved to have seen him when he toured with Billy Joel. The disc looks great.

Glad to see that Peter got the same impressions from this that I did. I love concerts that have sound done right and when I played this on Tuesday I was blown away. The piano alone sounds unbelievable! So very glad I picked this up. I will be using it as a demo from now on.

What an absolutely incredible setlist....and PCM 24-bit!!

Nice job Universal Music Group - I was hoping that after such great SACD releases we would see their first Blu-ray release be of audiophile quality and it certainly appears to be that way.

Looking forward very much to picking this one up, sounds like another in what I expect to be a long line of reference discs from Universal Music Group and SonyBMG.

With the track listing it looks almost exactly the concert I saw on November 11, 2007. I will definitely be picking this up. The concert I went to was awesome he didn't take a break at all really. Maybe 5 min in the whole 2 1/2 hour show!! It was a unbelievable act to say the least!!
Mischa.
