Thumbs up Sahara -- Close, but no cigar?

Checked out 'Sahara' on Blu-ray tonight:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/sahara.html

Though this was one of the only new Paramount Blu-ray titles to not quite match the HD DVD in terms of PQ. But it is very, very close, and it's still a very good disc.

Sahara makes me thirsty. Your review was very good, but you might want to check out your "Though this was..." sentence out in the above post. It does not read so well...

What is the difference between the 2005 Sahara blu ray and the 2009 blu ray release?

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I'm pretty sure Peter will get around to it.

This Sahara was awful. Now, give me Humphrey Bogart's Sahara and I'll be happy.

I'm assuming Sahara is being talked about because of Eisner's new movie?

You and me both, love that flick. "Water for guns."

Oh yeah definitely. I also felt the remake made in 1997 with Jim Belushi was excellent as well.
