Kenneth's review of 'Home of the Brave' is up. Although he says this Blu-ray releases feature a nice DTS-HD MA audio mix, he found the film itself disappointing, the video transfer soft, and the supplements thin.

aww what a horrible pic...of 50 cent(i think?) that beret is all jacked up...theres no unit insignia inside the blue flash....arr...just a little peve I have about these type of movies..I surely doubt that pic of 50 cent rendering the hand salute, would resemble even the worst non shaving profile out there...sorry for my gripe...

Asked for this one for my birthday from my in-laws. Not even going to open it up. Just going to take it back wherever they got it and pick up Die Hard 4. My own fault. I keep buying the good stuff as soon as they street or that same week they street.

The soundtrack in the movie is another example of that a lower bitrate doesn't necessarily make the soundtrack sound bad.

PQ - 2.5 !!!
![]() AQ - HD MA - 3.5 ? ![]() What happened to the technical superiority of BD? This BD film review contradicts the thread: Ratatouille = Proof that space does matter. ![]() This is just one proof that the format does not make the movie transfer good or bad. It's what you put in the disc.

Anyone actually seen this movie?? Is it good or bad?? I did good on my promise...took it back for Die Hard 4. I also returned Reign Of Fire for Rescue Dawn. The trailer for Home Of the Brave looks good..as does the pq,imho.

idk i was asking the same thing, i might blind buy it if people say its a good movie. some of my favorite critics, roger ebert and richard roeper said it was good, but thats about it. they also said that number 23 was good, which i as well did, even though everybody else thought it sucked

No, this movie was not good.
I liked The Number 23, for what it's worth.

Even the longer preview of the film looked suspect (saw it on Mr. Brooks).
Probably me, but when I see films using "rappers" as "actors," I run away. |
