Default Click - High-Def Digest

Peter Bracke on Click:

But there is no doubt about this Blu-ray release -- the format's first BD-50 dual-layer disc packs a fine punch. The transfer is very strong as is the soundtrack, and there are a ton of extras presented in full high-definition video. If this is an indication of what the Blu-ray format can ultimately deliver on a consistent and routine basis, the format war is just getting started.

I bought Click the other day and I must admit, this was a very impressive film and a very impressive Blu-ray. Being the first BD-50 I wasn't sure what to expect but I walked away from the experince very impressed. Like the review said, hopefully more BD-50s will get released soon that continue this impressive standard Click set forth.

as posted in the HD DVD vs Blu-ray smackdown area, DVDTown disagrees with Bracke:

smackdown thread:
First BD-50 ("Click") gets poor marks

hhmm. I just bought Click for DVD but im debating if I should return it (not opened yet) and buy it for blue-ray. I dont have a blue-ray player yet but things are slowly falling in place.

My 60" Sony SXRD should be coming in soon and then after that a few weeks after that, ill have my PS3 and it will be 1080p time

Man people are really intreseted in the 50GB disk aspect of this release. As of now there are 5 posts in this thread but 193 views, which is almost twice as many views as the other threads in this section.

It shows that people are wondering if this 50GB stuff is "all that it is cracked up to be".

I can't speak for others but on my setup it was very impressive. I'm hopeful that all Blu-ray discs from here on out will be like this.
