Default 'Hollow Man' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Hollow Man.' The film itself may be a disappointment, but Peter says it shines on Blu-ray, featuring "stunning" video and audio. In fact, he says you're not likely to find a better-looking next-gen catalog title.

Two five star PQ ratings for Blu-ray in one day, nice. Hopefully this trend of solid transfers will continue.

Fantastic!! Another 5 star PQ. I love this film. Have it preordered in Australia for 1/23. Gave my Superbit version away in hope that the PQ would be good. Looks like that paid off

Betcha they'll go for a Hat Trick with Ratatouille
Even Brad Bird had a difficult time discerning it from the 2k master.

I didn't think the movie was that bad. Its not a great flick by any means, but it is what it is. Outstanding technical review though!

I already picked this up from DVDPacific a couple of weeks ago so I alredy knew it looked top notch. Similar to Van Helsing this is one of those films most people hate but I like.

(of course, most of what the characters say is incredibly stupid anyway, so I suppose it isn't much of a loss).

Ha, ha, I just pissed myself reading that bit.

Looks like a demo disc for sure - I'll be picking this one up.

I bet it looks great. Personally, I found the film to be very unappealing. The whole 'rape' plot was too harsh for a Sci-Fi film. There was no fantasy element or any kind homage to past "B" Sci Fi films. I could never find myself ever wanting to watch this film again.

This movie made me want to take a shower after watching it. I hated it almost as much as I hated Crank. Good to see studios taking their time and getting the A/V quality right though.

Hopefully this bodes well for an equally solid Starship Troopers release (better than the UK version) if/when it is released here in the States. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

This movie isn't great by any means, but I'm a Verhoeven fan and I'll be picking this one up. Also, the great review makes this decision just that much easier...

Remember, it is a Verhoeven film. No holds barred. I could say the same about Flesh & Blood.

This movie looks FANTASTIC! I wasn't really a fan of this film when it was just on SDVD, but, watching this all take place in High Def is out of this world.

Everyone should atleast rent this to see just how amazing this release looks.
