Default 'Cars' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Cars.' Although the film itself may not be quite as strong as some other flicks in the Pixar canon, Peter says this is a first-rate Blu-ray release, featuring reference-quality video and audio, plus a slew of HD exclusives

WOW! So if Ratatouille is more well liked by the reviewer and contains a slew of Hi Def extras like Cars did (in which I believe Ratatouille does), could Blu Ray see it's first 5 star release? I mean Disney is always consistent with its releases so I'm not too worried about PQ and AQ.

Speaking of which, Jed, when is the Ratatouille review going to be posted?

I'm assuming that one star for supplements is a mistake...

Hopefully in the next couple of days -- I'm guessing it's next on Peter's list...

Cool Good Review

It seems of me that Peter is the premiere writer for this site. I almost always agree with his assessments and his overall ratings seem to match mine almost identically. Keep up the GREAT work.

Nope -- the vast majority of supplements are HD exclusives, which is why that section gets a rare four-star rating. As Peter discusses in the review, the standard supplements are actually quite slim.

Looks incredible. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
I think Cars is right up there with Toy Story and Incredibles in terms of the movie itself. I absolutely loved it. Much better than Nemo I thought.

Ratatouille - yes. Cars - no.

Curious - do subtitles actually take up that much room that they couldn't include anything more than English SDH?
