Default 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' -- pre-release buzz

'Dead Man's Chest' finally gets a date:

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...-ray_Dates/448

The only question: which will sell more, 'Black Pearl' or 'Dead Man's Chest?' I prefered the former, myself...

Great news!

BTW Blu-ray.com isn't an official site at all. It's a fan site.

Deep in the depths of my salty sea-water and blood soaked soul, I know that Dead Man's Chest will fetch more booty becausin less Blu-ray buccanears purchased the DVD of the second film than the first. They knew the second film would be out on Blu-ray so the buried their treasure and bidded their time.

I broke down and bought this DVD when it was released. The last one before that was Cronicles on Narnia. I am ready to get them both. I wonder if these will be $ 40 bucks a piece though ?

I hope they aren't much more than $26 on amazon like the other expensive BD titles. I'll only buy the $18 BD movies off Amazon except for the blockbuster types like these or a movie that I like alot.

Nu uh. He had nothing in his cabin. Not on board. Here is the proper quote:

LOL... I, too, often forget or misquote dialogue that has been garbled by compression!

uumm. So how odd. I had a dream last night that I had gotten this on Blu-ray and were watching on my Samsung Player (I dont buy Samsung) and then the movie looked great but half way, it stopped playing and we got static on the screen, so I wasnt sure if it was the Disc or the Player but I touched the player and it was super hot...

what a weird ass dream

Honestly I think they will be pretty even. I think most, if not all of us plan on buying both in High Def.

Agreed, if people are grabbing POTC in anticipation of the third, they are probably buying both.
