Default 'License to Wed' - High-Def Digest review

Peter's review of 'License to Wed' is up. Although he says this Blu-ray release boasts a great video transfer, low scores for audio, supplements and the movie itself relegate this one to "Fans Only" status.

Just watched this with the girlfriend the other night and we both thought it was pretty funny. I feel like Pete was a little too cynical in his review, especially of Robin Williams' character. The motivations were pretty clear, too. It had been Sadie's childhood dream to get married in Robin William's church by him, and since he was booked forever except for 3 weeks away they decided to take it. All in all, not great, not bad. I'd recommend Chuck and Larry since it had more laughs and some Sandler moments reminiscent of better times.

Avoid at all costs. This movie just isn't very funny aside from a couple of bits (that are already in the trailer, I think). This is Robin Williams at his absolute worst and most obnoxious. If you must satisfy your curiousity, rent it. You'll thank me later.
