Default Sony Delays 'Life of Brian'

Quote:
In a shuffling of its fall Blu-ray schedule, Sony has indefinitely postponed the planned November high-def debuts of both 'Monty Python's Life of Brian' and 'I Know Who Killed Me.'
Full story:
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/news/show/1075

UPDATE:
Turns out only "Life of Brian' is actually delayed. 'Killed Me' is still on, as are the three other titles that were rumored to be delayed. Apparently there was a glitch on Sony's press site (see related story)

I wonder if they're afraid there are too many BD releases in that time frame. The competition could adversely affect Warner and Fox, both of whom Sony's been wooing.

well, at least the important thing isn't knowing who killed her, it's the fact that she was killed

With the exception of Life of Brian, I agree. But I'm not sure how much LoB would benefit from the high def treatment. Maybe slightly more than MP & Holy Grail would.

Well obviously this year Santa is stuffing stockings with copies of I Know Who Killed Me instead of coal. Thus the North Pole has already purchased the entire production run of the BR version of the movie.

So many naughty children out there...

Yeah LOB is a good movie but this isn't crushing news. Spider-man Trilogy, CETC and Superbad are still on schedule. Now those babies are going to sell.
