Default 'Masters of Horror: Season One, Volume 4' -- pre-release buzz

Starz has finally announced the fourth and final Blu-ray volume of 'Masters of Horror: Season One':

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/mast...rror_s1v4.html

Specs are the same as the first three volumes -- 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and PCM 5.1 surround audio. Extras include audio commentaries on each episode, but none of the video-based extras included on the standard-def DVD versions.

Retail is $29.98 and street date a week earlier than originally expected, on December 4.

Hmm, 1080i or 1080p? I thought I read that the Masters of Horror films were all 1080i?

Here's an example:

I thought i read earlier on this site that they were not includeing one of the shows in these 4 blu-ray sets. Is this not the case anymore? Are all the shows of this series included if you buy all 4 of the blu-rays?

If I never see Imprint again, it'll be too soon.

Horror movies that are controversial are usually movies I stay away from. (ie. Salo if you can call Salo a horror movie)

However I'll probably end up watching Imprint one day.

Imprint is really not that bad. I guess if you're familiar with Takashi Miike's work it's really par for the course. Salo on the other hand is something I never want to see again.

I'm more than familiar with Miike's other work, but Imprint was just...I dunno. It wasn't very good. While a lot of his work features some fairly hardcore moments, it usually has enough of a reason for those moments to make it all work.

Imprint, on the other hand, is mostly non-sensical, terribly acted, and yes, pretty brutal when it comes to the torture. The sheer volume of fetuses (fetii?) is also pretty fucking insane.

It's worth watching for the "I can't believe I fucking watched that" factor, but is otherwise not one of Miike's better works.

I wonder if they're going to do a box set for these like they did the DVDs? Some of the episodes were entertaining enough, but I can't see buying it as four volumes. One box is somehow easier to take.
