Although this three-volume set has been rumored for weeks now, this morning Warner officially announced 'That’s Entertainment: The Complete Collection' for release on both Blu-ray and HD DVD November 13.

Actually, all of the extras listed, including Osborne's intros, are from the previous standard-def box set from a few years ago. I do hope the extra time they are adding on is to make everything look fantastic. Since some of the musicals that have clips in TC have been beautifully remastered, I hope they are using the new masters to insert them in, rather than just a standard Hi-Def redo of the entire TE films. This TE set could be a crowning achievement in hi-def, and definitely show that classic films from the Thirties, Forties, and Fifties can look great in hi-def, too.

Just received my copy and am delighted with the results. Not all the clips have been remastered to 1080p but the overall result is still far superior to the SD version. More classic musicals, please!!
