Saw this yesterday, it's so good it almost shames all the previous films(definitely shames Apocalypse). If there's any justice in this world, it deserves a best picture nomination.. course we know there isn't.

    UHD pre ordered!
    HT gear: JVC X570r 4K e-Shift projector, 150" screen, Yamaha CX-A5100 preamp, Klipsch ProCinema 7.2.4 Atmos,Oppo UDP-203(region free), Xbox One, Playstation 4, RetroN 5, , Xbox 360, Toshiba XA2

Agreed! But counterpoint question: would LOGAN be as good as it is without the emotional investment established over the many, many previous films it shames?

    Cheers.

I said almost. Of course one wouldn't have as much emotional investment without the previous films. I might get to test that however, got a buddy whose never seen an X Man movie; gonna try starting him with Logan.

Default Logan Release Date Update (According to Amazon)

Apparently, the release date for Logan on Blu-ray and 4k UHD has been set for May 23 according to Amazon. As far as the Target Exclusive (Full details unknown) and the Best Buy Steelbook Exclusive there isn't a release date listed so hopefully this May 23 date is firm. Also, at this point, full release specs are not yet known and no word on that rumored Black and White release.

No time like the present to get those pre-orders in!

I still cannot get into most Marvel movies. I recall several reviewers on this site indicating Logan is rather brutal and bloody. I could that as a plus but still not sure if I'm interested.

I would call this the least "Marvel" of any Marvel movie - let alone comic book movies in general

DC, with the exception of the Superman or Batman franchise I tend to agree to this statement. However even those two included franchises have been remade how many times?

If it's remade and good I'll watch it.

FYI, the Logan Ultra HD Blu-ray packaging also includes Logan Noir in 4K with Dolby Atmos. And if you preorder any of the formats on Amazon (click HERE), they're offering release day delivery. I just pre-ordered mine!
