Nice review, Aaron. I was surprised to find myself enjoying this one. Definitely compelling and ultra-tense. And Aaron's spot on about the Dolby Atmos track. Demo material once things start falling apart.

Typically with action movies, the dynamic range is such that I have to raise the volume for most dialog then drop the volume when the action starts.
With this movie, I never once had to adjust the volume. The dialog was loud and clear at all times, so I could keep it at one level the whole time.

Fans of this movie will want to purchase it instead of renting it. A family member that I know rented this movie on Blu-ray from Netflix. The rental version is on a dual layer Blu-ray disc with 32.2GB used out of 50GB. Also the rental version contains only the trailers for bonus features, compared to the retail Blu-ray version with bonus items. The worse thing about the rental version is that Lionsgate removed the 11.1 Dolby ATMOS soundtrack and with no 7.1 Dolby TrueHD lossless core soundtrack. Instead consumers get a lossy 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack (640kbps).

Hey HDTV, I think it should just be a standard disclaimer - anything Lionsgate and they will have a different disc for every outlet. And obviously the rental will have removed audio. This goes with them region locking every disc they produce, I am not impressed by their policies.Keep Physical Media Alive, Just say NO to digital "ownership"
