I want all of Rodriguez' movies in HD!!!
Wasn't it in the commentary of Once Upon a Time in Mexico that he talked about how he wished we could see it in HD?

lol as long as the 3D works correctly on my HDTV I will pick that up in HD. I do own the DVD already
. Story does suck but I am I huge fan of stereoscopy so its a combination of that and being a Rodriguez flick.

I would like the original El Mariachi on blu-ray! I think it would hold up really well.

Thanks for looking up the Hustle & Flow review. Kinda sucks...but wasn't the original Evil Dead shot on 16mm as well? Hopefully they'll do a kick ass job on that release!

I gotta say this though I would rather have Desperado. That was a much better action movie. Once Apon A Time in Mexico was more of a love story and you really dont need that in that kind of movie. I'd still pick it up on blu ray though since it would look totally kick ass!! It's just like quit messing with us put a release date out ya know!!
Thanks.

You know, I agree Desperado was a better film since I thought OUATIM was a messy, slap dash thrown together movie. But...because it's a love story? I mean, surely it references his relationship with Selma, but she's barely in the movie...it's more like a big mish mash of political intrigue and over the top action that, well, doesn't work too well. It has its moments...I liked Depp's blind gunfighter. But Mexico's problem isn't that it's a love story.
