Default 'IMAX: Roving Mars' - High-Def Digest review

While you might expect this one to be the perfect eye candy for your high-def home theater, Kenneth says was disappointed with this Blu-ray presentation of the IMAX flick, 'Roving Mars.'

Well right now there are 2 machines on the martian surface wandering around taking rock samples and pictures.
I find that fascinating. The photos they take are on the nasa website and are very cool.

Robots made by humans traveling millions of miles to another planet. If that isn't interesting and worthy of high definition... what is??

Can't wait for my weekly Blu-ray shipment to come!

Well I'm not quite sure that Mars is "millions of miles" away, but alas, I would think it would be interesting.

Today, I heard that in Math and Science, US was 29 in the world. I now believe it.

Your right, Mars is just down the 101 to the 405.

Quote:
The average smallest distance between Mars and the Earth is 78 million kilometers or 48 million miles (and the average greatest distance is 378 miljoen kilometers or 235 million miles), but that smallest distance can vary, because of the eccentricity, between about 56 million kilometers (35 million miles) and 101 million kilometers (63 million miles): that's a ratio of almost two. This time it is 56 million kilometers or 35 million miles.

Mars isn't millions of miles away anymore. Its now 8 feet away. Encoded in AVC!

Good buy for any of you geeky engineer types...
