This is one of the stupidest things I've seen in a long time. At least if they're planning a reissue already, keep it quiet so it doesn't hurt current sales.

Why on earth would someone buy the Blu-ray version of this again?

Because I could give an ish about extras or purchasing ringtones, and I also will enjoy the 5.1 PCM that I can get on my PS3, which i cant get on my hddvd player.

If i want to watch a making of or any other interviews, ill log onto the internet and find the same information right there, at my fingertips! OMG what a concept. Enjoy your 300 ringtones

I guess Iphones, any music with the f word in them, and hybrid cars, make that cars in general aren't mainstream then because Walmart doesn't carry them, hence they COULDN'T POSSIBLY be mainstream

I only care about having the movie in the best shape possible. Now, if it's a director's cut or something I'd definitely be angry, but more featurettes and whatnot? Couldn't care less.

Hey, if they reissue like they did Fifth Element, no sweat. If it's a double dip....then I could care less what it came with. Extra's aren't why I buy movies.

That's it, I'm reporting jed for flamebaiting on the forums.

PS: This would probably be better on Smackdown since both sides will have alot to say on this I'm sure.

Couldn't care less about the extras! All I want is PCM audio and I good. Reason why I chose the Blu-ray over the HD DVD (it, being Combo!).

I just bought this movie this morning. If the re-issue has the same extras as the HD DVD version I will just stick with the copy I have. i dont care about extras on nay dvd, blu-ray, or HD DVD the only way I would re buy this blu-ray is if it is a directors cut.

Agreed. However....nothing has been confirmed yet as this was just side talk from a person who did not even seem confident in her own statement. To say something like this, on the day of it's release, is not doing Warner or retailers any favors. What an odd and careless thing to say . Still...she is the excutive producer. Maybe the mag she was talking to misquoted her in some way but I kind of doubt it. It probably will turn out to be true. GOD I WISH I HAD NOT READ THIS BEFORE GETTING 300!!!! Makes me want to wait for the better version now. I hate double dipping.

Wow, this could very well be the first triple dip on an HD format. If they re-issue with an extra filled disc, and again when the extended version comes out. (I am just assuming we may some day see an extended version based on the disc sales for all 3 formats).

It sounds like some of you think this re-issue is going to come out next week. If it comes out, and that's a big if, it probably won't be for a year at least. I have seen the movie and it looks great and sounds great.

What I would like to see in a re-issue is an extended cut and maybe a version without the digitally added grain. Also, how about a 7.1 PCM sound track? Wouldn't you like to hear those arrows that blot out the sun sound like they were whizzing right past your head?

I agree 100% - This makes me wonder if Warner is upset if Blu-ray is winning war. Or just trying to be greedy.

Anyway it like cost as much as the HD DVD version or more. So why do it. My 300 Blu-ray arives from Amazon tommorrow - it is should be good enough.
