this is a strange and silly show but i'm always distracted when the dog talks because he sounds pretty much identical to Bender from Futurama. like, the actor doesnt even try and make him sound different. i mean sure this character is more "happy and fun" but yeah. and i know he CAN do different sounding voices.

but it reminds me of the guy who does Bob on Bob's Burgers...he uses the exact same voice for that character, the Coach on Home Movies, Archer on Archer and the convienance store guy on Family Guy.

I think you replied to the wrong thread unless there's a talking dog in this horror flick.

Why this show? Why not Young Justice? The new Thundercats? Brave and the Bold? Justice League Unlimited?

Adventure Time is great. Can't wait to own it, especially since it's not on Netflix.

I also enjoyed Mama fairly well, except for the ending.

That's because it's his actual voice. Jon Benjamin rules. It would be ridiculous if he started doing different wacky voices for different characters.
    RIP Kosty you are missed.

I may have to pick this up, just because it is visual eye candy. Teh MSRP is a reasonable price. I cut the cable about a year ago, had it again for about a month when I moved, and then cut it again. This is one of the shows I would stumble upon, and thought "this show would be great at 1 in the morning". I guess I could've DVRed it, but the DVR the cable provider offered was crap, and they put Broadcast flags on everything, so even with a cable card, I really couldn't use another device. That, and the "extra $10 a month on top of your internet bill" for the cable service ended up costing $90 a month after they added in taxes, fees, equipment rentals, surcharges for HD channels, etc.

Sorry, chasing rabbits. Yeah, I will probably pick up this show. I have almost worked my way through every single Robot Chicken episode and every single Aqua Teen show, so I need something else to watch late at night.

Your opinion certainly goes against the critical consensus. And you speak too much like your opinion is fact, anyway. :P

You are the one who decided to be a prick, not me. So keep your annoying opinion to yourself and enjoy the crappy movie.

The "critical consensus" isn't that it is great, by the way:

    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/mama_2013/

53% rotten from top critics reviews... perhaps I fall under the "top critic" category... I don't know.
